The personal experience of Mouna from Canada

My IVF journey with Newlife has been one of the most important and emotional experiences of my life, and looking back today, I truly cannot imagine having gone through this process anywhere else.

Coming from Montreal, Canada, pursuing treatment abroad initially felt overwhelming. Last summer, I travelled to Newlife to complete my testing and begin my journey. Like many women beginning IVF, I had many questions, emotions, and uncertainties, but from the very beginning, I felt supported, reassured, and genuinely cared for.

Dr. Giorgos Chorozoglou was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. His professionalism, expertise, kindness, and calm approach immediately gave me confidence and reassurance. During such an emotional journey, having a doctor who truly makes you feel understood means everything.

One thing that stood out to me from the beginning was the communication and follow-up. During the fertilization process and the first five days of embryo development, I received daily updates. Those updates meant so much to me because I always felt informed and included during every stage.

I also appreciated the support and communication while waiting for my PGT results. Throughout every step of the process, I constantly felt reassured and supported.

I especially want to thank Katerina Mpekiari. Since I was coordinating everything internationally from Montreal with a 9-hour time difference, communication was extremely important to me. No matter when I emailed, I always received quick responses and follow-up. I never once felt abandoned, forgotten, or alone during this journey.

When I decided in February that I was ready to return for my embryo transfer, everything moved quickly and smoothly. The responsiveness, organization, and warm welcome from the entire team exceeded all my expectations.

I also want to sincerely thank the embryology team, especially Petroula Tatsi and Eirini Neofytou. One moment that truly stayed with me was on the day of my embryo transfer, when they personally came to see me and were present during the transfer with Dr. Giorgos Chorozoglou. That meant so much to me emotionally. Moments like that made me feel like I was not simply another patient, but someone they genuinely cared about.

Today, hearing my baby's heartbeat and seeing my pregnancy progressing well feels surreal. Looking back, I feel incredibly grateful for every person who played a role in this journey.
