Our story with New Life Thessaloniki :)
We chose Greece after several unsuccessful IUI procedures and an IVF cycle in Skopje.
We first learned about New Life through Instagram, read the Google reviews, and decided to give it a chance.
We met our doctor and the Macedonian coordinator through a video call, and after the very first minute, we simply knew this was the right place for us.
We scheduled our first consultation and brought all of our medical records and test results. Dr. Dimitrios Dovas is confident, honest, approachable, and extremely thorough.
What impressed us the most was the individualized approach to every patient. From the very beginning, the treatment plan, additional testing, and medication were tailored specifically to our case. The doctor carefully guided us through every step of the process, making sure we understood what to expect and were fully prepared.
To give one example, there was one test that we had previously been told was necessary for my partner in Skopje, but Dr. Dovas explained that it was not needed in our case. We truly appreciated his evidence-based approach and honesty.
The coordination at the clinic is excellent. Elena Najdovska, the Macedonian coordinator, was always familiar with every detail of our medical file and was available whenever we needed her, whether by email or by phone. She supported us throughout the entire journey with genuine empathy, kindness, and understanding. During such an emotional and challenging process, having someone who truly listened, cared, and reassured us made a tremendous difference. We were extremely satisfied with the communication regarding medications, appointments, and test results. Everything was organized on time—often even earlier than expected.
The embryology team was also exceptional. During the fertilization process, they updated us every day on our embryos' development. On the day of the egg retrieval, they also gave us a detailed presentation explaining each stage of the process, helping us understand exactly what to expect.
Today, we are expecting our baby, and we are deeply grateful to Dr. Dimitrios Dovas, Elena Najdovska, and the entire New Life team for making our dream come true.
