The personal experience of Lisa and Demetrios from United Kingdom

We met Dr Dovas at the fertility show in November 2017. I was in the middle of my 3rd IVF cycle with the NHS but had already lost hope of ever becoming pregnant. I explained our history to Dr Dovas and he took my hand and said he could help but that he wanted me to concentrate on the cycle I was in the middle of. He said he hoped it worked and that he wouldn’t see us again but that the clinic was there should the cycle fail. Our 3rd cycle failed 2 weeks later and I was devastated.

I contacted NewLife at the end of December 2017 and provided a copy of our medical file from the NHS (it was over 300 pages) and we arranged a consultation in January. We met with both Dr Dovas and Chrysa. I was so impressed that I didn’t really need to explain our history because Chrysa had been through our medical information with a fine tooth comb. She even noticed there was one report missing from the NHS amongst the huge file. Both Dr Dovas and Chrysa were so caring and we felt in very safe hands with them.

We started our IVF cycle in 2018 which resulted in 2 grade A blasts. We had our first frozen transfer in July 2018 and gave birth to a baby boy in February 2019. We had our second frozen transfer in January 2020 and gave birth to a baby girl in October 2020. The whole process was so different from the NHS because we felt supported the whole way through.

Without NewLife, Dr Dovas and Chrysa we wouldn’t have a family. We will forever be grateful to them for all they have done for us.
